Adam Good

Representatives from Patrick Henry’s Motorsports program and from Southside Virginia’s Heavy Equipment program were front and center at the General Assembly this week at the Virginia Community Colleges display.

Adam Good came all the way from Pennsylvania to take motorsports engineering at PHCC – because he liked the hands-on approach.  He’ll be transferring to ODU, using teletechnet through PHCC and New College Institute.

Heavy equipment takes the stage from Southside

Southside’s heavy equipment program has five sessions a year for those who want to boost job skills to operate heavy equipment at construction sites.  Participants in the program complete real projects as they complete the program.
