Governor Tim Kaine is cutting Virginia’s Community Colleges by nearly seven percent as part of his plan to address Virginia’s budget shortfalls.

This cut is coming at a time when Virginia’s Community Colleges are seeing record enrollment levels across all 23 colleges.

What remains to be seen is how these budget cuts will be felt by the individuals who are attending community college to start or restart their careers.  No doubt, more information will be coming out as it is available.
