ESCC invests in innovation

Eastern Shore Community College is investing in the latest technologies for education and training. Through a variety of grant sources, the college will provide new tools for Computer Aided Design (CAD) and the nursing program, offering more hands-on experiences for students that increase efficiency and improve proficiency.

Among the  exciting, new additions to the classroom are: a 3D printer, involving rapid prototyping, which allows manufacturers to “see” a structure before it’s created; electronic mannequins for patient simulation; and, electronic classrooms stream live broadcasts from the hospital.
