I was honored to be selected to share my story with the legislators. Higher education would not be an option for me if it weren't for community colleges. Due to my personal experiences, I feel very strongly about the system and to see that the senators and delegates believe in it and support it made sharing our viewpoints that much easier. But we weren't the only ones sharing stories! Delegate "Tag" (Thomas Greason (32nd)) informed us that his wife had actually attended the Annandale NVCC campus. Each meeting with the representatives was exciting! I want to thank everyone involved for giving us this opportunity! I attended the program on behalf of the Loudoun-NVCC campus.
